Who am I: I'm a SharePoint Architect who has been around the block; I've been working with SharePoint prior to the release of SharePoint Portal Server 2001. I'm a geek; I love what I do and I’m very successful in my field. I recently published my 1st book and am working on my second book with Sybex. On a personal note - I had brain surgery on 01.17.10 for an almost always fatal neurological disorder. I’ve made a full recovery and am a stronger and more positive person because amazing recovery. Thanks to the people who were pulling and praying for me.Community: I’ve made some amazing friends being involved in the SharePoint community. On 06.09 I launched the first SharePoint Saturday Chicago followed by SharePoint Saturday Chicago on 10.10. I founded the "The SharePoint Road Show" and it kicked off on 9.09 (with a room filled with 200 people) and then again on 01.11. These events help people learn and grow and for the speakers; we make lifelong friendships.
